A family in the Southern Province of China, were puzzled when the coffin of their dead grandmother arrived from the States. It was sent by one of the daughters. The dead body was so tightly squeezed inside the coffin, with no space left in it! When they opened the lid, they found a letter on top; which read as follows:-

Dear Cousins,

I am sending Ah ma body to you since it was her wish that she should be cremated in The compound of our ancestral home in Tung Shan. Sorry, I could not come along as all of my paid leaves are consumed. You will find inside the coffin, under Ah ma's body, 12 cans of Yohmeitsu,10 packets of Swiss chocolates and packets of Chinatown Lap Cheong. Please divide these among all of you. On Ah ma's feet you will find a new pair of Nike Air shoes (size 10) for Ah boy. Also, there are 2 pairs of shoes for Ah Mei's and Ah Lien's sons. Hope the sizes are correct. Ahma is wearing 6 CK T-Shirts. The large size is for Ah Bak and the others are for my nephews. Just distribute them among yourselves. The 2 new Armani Jeans that Ah ma is wearing are for the boys. The Rolex watch that Lee Ah Bai wanted is on Ah ma's left wrist. Kiasu Aunty Pei Pei, Ah ma is wearing the Tiffany necklace, earrings and ring that you asked for. Please take them. The 6 white Polo cotton socks that Ah ma is wearing must be divided among my teenage cousins. Let me know what else you need as Ah Kong is also not keeping well nowadays. I can send all required things when our Ah Kong also.....

hmmm.... i think my blog has been a dead blog... recently, i have no inspiration to blog/write... sigh.... dont know what's happening !! maybe it's becos i'm a lazy piggie !!! :P

anyway, let's change the boring topic... it was a Sunday.... the night before, we went to Kelvin's house for a ginrummy session... i was the big winner of the night - RM 40 !! hahaaa... we played till 3am... hahaaa....

i brought my mum out for a body scrub and aromatherapy body massage at Amante at Aman Suria... few weeks before, we went for the manicure and pedicure there... she also did manicure cos she's gonna attend a wedding dinner later at night...

then, the Soo sisters went out for dinner at Johnny Steamboat at Kepong Jusco... there's only 2 of us, so we ordered a steamboat set for one person and one ala carte Belacan Fried Rice...

YY...

the vegetables, fish noodles and vege noodles....

although we ordered so little, we tried our best to finish it... so damn full laa... :P

since i was out to Custom office at Kelana Jaya, i took the chance to asked my friend out for lunch nearby at Wendy's Bistro... it's a place that offers a wide range of delicious non-halal cuisine with an oriental touch and it's definately a place to enjoy delicious pork grills in a warm ambience and friendly environment.... the price was quite reasonable and affordable... :)

we ordered one set lunch (RM21.90) - Grilled Pork Belly and Rib which comes with a soup of the day and a glass of refillable ice lemon tea.. we also ordered an appetizer - Portabello Mushroom with Bacon and Cheese (RM 11.70) for sharing since the portion were quite big for me... i'm such a small eater laa... hehee...

i guessed it was the carrot + pumpkin soup... yummylicous !!

it was the best Grilled Pork Rib i've ever had... the pork was so tender and tasty... :)

it's the Wesak Day and a Public Holiday on Monday....

Kelvin and his wife have just moved back to his parent's old house at Selayang Utama... they have renovated the house, especially the master bedroom... and, the House Warming was on the public holiday... we had lunch at his house...

know what??? we gave him a "SPECIAL" mahjong table and a set of Ginrummy...

we signed all over the table... when Kelvin saw all these wordings, he dont dare to use this table already... hahaa....

we went for cycling again... but this time, under the hot sun at around 2pm... hahaa.... cos we afraid it will be raining later in the evening... crazy fellas...

both of us wore caps... hahaa...

we cycled from Sunway SPK to Desa Park City for lunch at Kluang Station... my mum drove there...

we walked around before we cycled back to Sunway SPK...

at last, it's a Friday again... hehee...

after work, i had dinner at Wong Kok Char Chan Teng at SS2... it's been quite some time i didnt go there... :P

after dinner, i went back home to shower... went to Scarlet at Cineleisure for Jeffrey and Ice's farewell party.... it was more like a gathering for people who are still in Electcoms and people who already left, like ME.... !!

reached there at almost 10.30pm... more than 15 of us, we opened 4 bottles of liquor... if not mistaken, 3 bottles of Black Label and a bottle of Hennesy... hahaa....

my Nokia N81

just a not very short update...

yesterday was a bad day for me and my beloved Nokia N81....

something bad happened to him (N81)... something really bad... !! never in my life, such a thing happened to my handphone...

how BAD ??

"he" fell into a toilet bowl full of water (clean water of cos !!) in the washroom at my office...

how it happened ??

i was rushing out to the washroom right before lunch time.... normally, i wouldnt bring my it into the cubicles... but, since i wanted to go for lunch after my wee wee "toilet session", i brought along my phone, purse and office tag...

once i was inside the cubicle facing the toilet bowl, i was holding my phone and purse in one hand... then, i thought i left my tag in the office and when i wanted to see what's in my hand... then i accidentally dropped the phone right into the toilet bowl !!! it happened in just a split of second....

oh my GOD.... i was so damn shocked and i immediately grab it with my hand (luckily i still havent do my business yet).... and took out the phone from the cover, and wipe it with the toilet paper i had as fast as i can...

the phone cover was all wet and i immediately switched it OFF and wiped it again... i tried to switched it ON after a while... and it seems to be alright for a short moment before the screen went "sot"... brighter and dimmer and brighter !!! and that's the moment i decided to switched it OFF again and let it dried off thoroughly... sigh... :(

after lunch, i went back to office and wiped it again with more tissues... mainly those small holes for battery charging, cable port, handsfree port and memory card slot...

some friends advised me not to switch it on for at least a day or two... but i just couldnt wait any longer to know it's destiny... after dinner, i went back home and used a hairdryer to blow it dry...

and....

thank GOD, it's back to life !!!

i was really so lucky cos he's only 6 months old... so young only, need to die meh... hehee... or else, i will need to use public phone ler !!

luckily, i protected it with a cotton phone cover, or else... "DIE HARD" !!

that's my handsome N81... with it's life saver....

Lesson of the day: Do NOT bring your handphone to the toilet even for a small business or get yourself a waterproof phone cover !! You wouldnt know what will happen next.

anyway, i've got this email from a friend recently and i dont know how true it is... my phone was not that wet, so i didnt try it... maybe you will need it one day ?? check it out....

previously, i've mentioned about Fun Taipei Teacafe, a Taiwanese Restaurant at Changkat Thambi Dollah ... so, this afternoon, i went there for lunch with my friend... it was my 3rd visit there, and there are more to come... hahaa....

initially, we planned to have my favourite Chee Cheung Fun at Restoran Yap Hup Kee at Jalan Brunei Barat, Pudu... but, when we reached there, the shop was closed !! so dissappointed...

anyway, we have no choice still enjoyed our taiwanese dishes very much...

it's a very small shop and if not mistaken, there was less than 15 tables inside.... as you can see. there was a whiteboard on the right... it's for the Special Daily Set...

my all time favourite.... Bubble Tea with lotsa Pearl... this was the best Bubble Tea i've ever had... the tasteful pearls were so chewable...

i ordered Dried Minced Meat Noodle with Five Spices Pork... this set came with 2 side dishes, a soup and a dessert for only RM13.99.... for an extra RM2.00, i get to order a glass of Bubble Tea with pearls (the original price - RM4.00++)...

Clockwise L-R: The side dishes - bittergourd in chilli oil, taufu with minced meat and greenpeas, cabbage soup with chicken feet and the Five Spice Pork ( 5 Heong Yok)...

not forgetting the dessert - Ai Yue Bing.... it's a sourish jelly thingie and heard that it is good for digestion...

my friend ordered a set lunch of the day... it was written on the whiteboard as Black Pepper Chicken (RM 6.99)... we're quite surprised when they served a plate of rice with Black Pepper Chicken, some vegetables and fried scrambled egg (is it a Taiwanese economy rice ??)... i've tried a piece of the chicken, and it's very tender and tasty !!

me and my set lunch... if you are not a big eater, i would recommend you to share this set... just order an extra rice or plain noodle with minced meat and you can share the side dishes... of course, i didnt finished the whole set myself !!! hahaaa....

it's a Tuesday, and i'm supposed to go for badminton at Bayu Apartment... but, since there's only one court from 8-10pm today, i decided to skip it and went for dinner with a friend....

we went to Restoran Lorong Seratus Tahun at SS2, Petaling Jaya... it was my second visit there, if not mistaken, the first time was few years back during lunch time when i was still working in Electcoms... hehee....

i guessed most of you should know about this restaurant... even the popular TV Show - Ho Chiak also introduced this place before... hehee... anyway, it's not too late to blog about it rite ?? :)

the menu.... this restaurant is famous for it's Penang Curry Mee...

my Snow Fungus with Papaya(RM 3.80) and my friend's iced white coffee (RM 2.50)....

we ordered Fried Glass Noodle (RM 5.80) and Fried Mee Mamak (RM 5.80).... the pic doesnt looked good as it should be, cos it's taken with my N81... but the food really tasted good, up to our expectation... :)

i will bring my parent over next time cos they loved Penang food as well... :)
