Hong Kong 2009 - Part 5

- Part 5 -

here comes Day 3 of our trip... my sis had planned our itinerary very much earlier, so we just follow the schedule... we went to LAMMA ISLAND on Day 3 :P

supposed to meet up with my sis around 9am... since three of us woke up quite early, we walked around nearby our hotel... and we had Dim Sum at "Hong Sing"...

the restaurant also cater for wedding banquet... nicely decorated hall with chandelier...

Har Kau & Siu Mai is a must in Dim Sum.... not forgetting my mum's favourite Salty Egg Yolk Bun (Lao Sar Pao) and Dumpling in Superior Soup...

Chee Cheong Fun, special Crab roe Xiao Long Pao and some foo chok dim sum...

our breakfast alone cost us HKD 356.80 !! what about lunch ??? continue reading and you will know it... double of this amount !!! faintttt ~~

they also have Jusco here at Hong Kong, but the chinese name of it is quite weird... "Kat Zhi Dou" in canto ??

we walked to the nearby pier to take a ferry to Central Pier...

looked familiar ?? was it a famous shooting place ?

people were fishing at the pier...

TO CENTRAL...

having our apples bought in the morning...

it was a short journey and we reached Central Pier...

somebody's wedding day...

we quickly walked to the designated pier to Lamma Island since it was drizzling... we almost miss the ferry cos there were so many people already... we managed to find ourselves a seat... i was sitting alone and dozed off till we reached our destination around 40 mins later...

main transportion in Lamma Island - BICYCLE... you have to look out for bicycle while walking there...

those shops behind us... we can always see this background in those HK series...

HK telephone booth, not as famous and iconic as the red one in London.. hahaaa....

had a stick of satay and jumbo hotdog... YUMMY !!

traditional convenient store... neatly arranged stocks....

biggest seafood restaurant overlooking the beautiful sea and pier... it was too crowded, we decided to go for the smaller restaurant but still overlooked the sea...

Nan Jiang Seafood Restaurant... you can handpick your fresh seafood here...

waiting for the S-E-A-F-O-O-D ~~

we ordered a 6 dishes set lunch - Fried Sotong, Bamboo Clam aka Chuk Tan , Steamed Garlic Prawn (the best dishes of the day), a steamed fish, Yong Chow Fried Rice and a sweet Choy Sum for HKD 550 !!

we also ordered 4 steamed Giant Scallops @ HKD 40 each... it's HKD 160 already !! we also ordered 2 bottles of Tsing Tao...

total bill = HKD 800 ++ !!

next, we walked back to the pier... took some photos while waiting for the next ferry back to Central...

we took the ferry back to Central Pier, then took a bus to Causeway Bay for shopping, dinner and..... SURPRISE !!!
