and yet, another farewell for my sis... she has been travelling here and there since college time - Aussieland, London and now to Hong Kong... so, it's nothing so special actually, we're getting used to it already... not really a farewell... hehee...

so, this time we decided to have Nyonya cuisine for the "farewell" dinner at a Restaurant The Bird at Medan Putra Business Centre at Manjalara...

the signboard... i used to pass by the shop and thought it was any other normal chinese restaurant.. :P

the warm and cosy ambience inside the restaurant... but we sat outside cos it's more windy... :)

the gal with the fresh Ambra juice with assam (RM4.00)... so refreshing !!!

my cup of tea.... this pot of green tea costs us RM4.00 for 2 persons...

Home made tofu with Choi Bou... know what, it's the best tofu i've ever had ever... it was so nice.. the tofu was so soft and tasty... YUMMY !!!

the bill came out to about RM 80++... for sure, we will go there again..

next, we went for a second round "yam cha" at Station One cafe... nothing much, just chit-chatting, gossiping and updating each others only...

Raya Holiday

ohh noo.... the long awaited Raya Holiday is gone...

so fast and furious, huh ?? hehee....

nothing much to update about the 5-days holiday... a lot of people choose to travel and go for holiday... as for me, i spent most of the time with loved ones... resting at home... watching HK TVB dramas... and also, reading book !!

yes... you heard it right... i'm currently reading a book - The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown... not bad, huh ???

and, know what... in these 5 days itself, i have watched 3 fantastic movies at various locations - Pavilion and Kepong Jusco - Eagle Eye, The Painted Skin and Mamma Mia... !! Both Eagle Eye and Mamma Mia was up to expectation... but Painted Skin was so so only, cos it's a boring love story, nothing to shout out... i heart Pierce Brosnan in Mamma Mia!!!! one handsome and charming old man !! i'm falling for him... heheee....

that's about it... how do you spent your holidays ???

it's a belated birthday dinner for my dad... his birthday falls on 3rd of October but my mum was away to JB/Singapore for some prayers... so, we celebrated it a day after... and after she came back from her Raya holiday... hehee...

nowadays, we dont really celebrate a birthday with a cake, it's more like a normal family dinner... hehee... nowadays kinda hard to get all of us to have dinner together... moreover, my sis is flying to HK soon... we just take the chance to eat together... :)

yee mee, meehoon and eggs... also in the set for 3 persons...

the condiments... the Green Chilli sauce is quite famous...

add ons - Enoki Mushroom... it cost RM8 per plate... it's kinda expensive but we still ordered 2 plates of this... YummY !!!

we also ordered this "Thong Hou veges"... dont know what it's called in English... my Dad likes it for steamboat... hehe...

we actually ordered a plate of thinly sliced pork and a plate of wantan-fishball thingy but didnt take a picture of it.. too busy eating ler... once you're there, dont forget to order the

D E L I C I O U S chicken wings and satay at the stalls outside the restaurant.... forgotten to take the pic of it too... :P

Snake Whisky

yes.... you heard it right... it's SNAKE WHISKY !!!

have you try it before ?? it looked kinda gross and disgusting to see a snake inside the bottle... but it's good for Rheumatism and Sweat of Limbs (what the hell is that ???)... some said, it's very GOOD for MAN !!! wanna try some ?? hahaaa....

it's a specialty from LAOS !!

it's not mine actually... Rachel went to Chiang Mai and Laos last week, and she bought it as souvenir for my boss, Mr Hugo... she bought a nice handmade cotton scarf for me... but i forgot to take a pic of it... heheee...

me and my sis planned the whole BBQ thingie... from inviting guests and buying things... hehee... actually, his actual birthday is on 13th Sept... we celebrated with him a day earlier, as he planned to celebrate the actual date with his friends...

as the Mooncake Festival just around the corner, we celebrated it as well by lighting up some lanterns...

early in the morning, i went to pasar at Kepong Baru with my mum... i think i last went there during Chinese New Year this year... :P this time, we bought some vegetables and meat for dinner... we planned it the night before to eat at home... heheee...

then, my parent, my sis and me went for the movie - Money No Enough 2, 4.20pm show at TGV Kepong at Jusco..

overall, this movie was quite good and hilarious... Jack Neo's movies are improving and getting better and better... more meaningful this time... in the reality, every people will have their own difficulties in life especially money-related...a good movie to show motherly love... the ending part was so touching... it really conveyed a very good message to people.... :) too bad, i couldnt understand Hokkien, or else i will laugh loud like others... hahaa....

went home immediately to cook dinner... i actually cooked once last week, but forgotten to take any pics.. hahaa... this time, i took some photos... my mum was the main cook, i was the kitchen helper... hahaa... and only in-charged of one dish - Fried Bittergourd with Salted Egg.. :P

Story of Me

Enough of posts about food, enough of posts about places i've travelled, and for now, i'm gonna write a post about me. Yes, ONLY about me and myself !! Hope you guys wont get bored reading the rest of this post.

It's not a happy or interesting story, just gonna tell a silly story of myself when i was young - a teenager. I'm not saying that i'm OLD now, but i actually felt that i am OLD at this age of 25 ! You got to believe it.

Actually, it's not really a story, but it's simply what i've been thinking during my younger age, about LOVE, LIFE and MARRIAGE. The summarised of it :-

#1 What exactly is Love ?? It is the most difficult question for mankind. At this point, I don't really have the answer for it. And i'm such a loser ! After many failed relationships, i'm STILL a LOSER.

#2 LIFE is COMPLICATED, LIFE is full of shits. LIFE sucks, sometimes most of the times !!

#3 MARRIAGE is what ?? a male + a female legally staying under the same roof ??

Know what, i used to think that i wanna get married before or at the age of 25. How silly is that ? I really wished and hoped for it when i was still studying in secondary school. I really thought that 25 is the perfect age for marriage, a fairy-tale marriage, but how wrong am i !! after so many shits things happened to me, i realised it's not up to my control for "when" i wanna get married. And, it's not so easy as i thought. For SURE, i'm NOT gonna make it !! In next life, perhaps.

Sometimes, i will ask myself, what's so wrong with me ? Can somebody tell me ? Things will never end. I just wanted to be cared and loved by someone who is really sincere in doing so. Is it so hard ? GOD knows.

Recently, i've been going through the list of friends on my Friendster and Facebook. To my surprise, so many of my primary and secondary school mates are married, and some even with kid not one but a few ? hahaa... Congrattss to you guys, for successfully entering another phase/stage of life !!

I dont wanna elaborate more. That's about it.

I should have WAKE UP by now !!
