A night out at I-City, Shah Alam

since everyone has been talking about the I-City in Shah Alam, we decided to go to the place to experience it ourselves... it's a city of LIGHTS....lots of COLOURFUL LED light...

it took us around 45mins to reach Shah Alam from Cheras... so far ler... hehee... there's a bazaar/flea market selling lots of stuffs... most of them are malays... according to a stall operator, the bazaar is gonna be there for a month only to celebrate the World Cup !!

my Dear brought along his Nikon DLSR to play around...

last year, we had it at Hanazen, Jaya One.... this year, we had western food !! hehee...

as usual, the "gang" (ex-Electcoms staff) met up at TGIF at The Curve around 7-ish... it was a good time for catching up after so long... :P

a Three for All platter for sharing and our main course - Grilled Lamb, Chicken Salad, pasta and dont-know-what fish... quite big portion !!

wow... another year has gone...

i still can remember his One Year Old birthday party... and we had buffet dinner at SPK... for this year, we get to celebrate on the actual day... and just a simple home-cooked "buffet" dinner for relatives only... :P

and, this little boy has grown up so much...

the food - Fried Meehoon, Fried Loh Shu fan (mee tikus.. hahaaa), a pot of chicken curry and sausages in stick...

stir fried celery with prawns, fried chicken wings, yam cake and sponge cake..

not forgetting some red eggs...

hahaa... another backdated post of my Dear birthday celebration ??

it was actually a pre-birthday celebration... somebody actually told my mum that she need to celebrate the birthday for her Son-In-Law for the first year... so, my mum invited some of my relatives for a simple dinner at Restoran Kok Heng...

after the dinner, we went back to Sunway SPK and they brought out the birthday cake...

so happened my youngest Aunt's birthday falls on the same month.... so we celebrate together... hehee...

p/s: i like this pic so much... cos my face doesnt looked so chubby here... haha !

it was my Dear's birthday on 8th April... and we went for dinner at Look Out Point with his family members... the photos below were taken with our Nikon DSLR... :P

our main course - Chicken Maryland, Grilled Lamb with Mint Sauce, Lamb chop and also Spicy Fried Rice.... actually the taste were so so only !! dont think they will visit that place again...

not one, but two(2) pregnancy test kits... hahaa...

Surprise Mother's Day Celebration @ Johor Bharu

this year's Mother's Day was very special...

me and my bro successfully gave my mum a big surprise by traveling all the way to Johor Bahru (my aunt's place) and greeted her at 8am in the morning... we actually left KL around 5-ish in the morning... just in time before they go to Singapore for a day trip... heheee...

another surprise was a Nokia handphone for her as Mother's Day gift... since she has been complaining that her old SE phone "sot sot"... :P

task #1 - done...

then, i followed them to Singapore for breakfast and we visited Resort World Sentosa Casino... nothing much, mum was a bit unlucky, she lost some SGD, while the rest won some extra $$ for shopping... hehee... had lunch at Food Republic at Vivo City... then back to Toa Payoh central for some shopping... dinner and bla bla blaa....

got myself the RWS card as souvenir... the second card was a temporary VIP card to enter the VIP lounge... but one thing they need to improve is the security system, cos the $$ doesnt go into your card directly, if you won some $$ at those machines, make sure you collect the printed receipt, or else BYE BYE !! whoever takes it, can easily cash out over the counter.... hahaa...

actually, my main point is not about my 1 day trip to Singapore !! it's the important part later on...

after dinner, 8 of us including my mum, my cousin - Irene, 4 aunts and 1 uncle went back to JB... it was a normal trip as they always travel to SG-JB-SG... but that night was a very special night...

the "kids" have something special for them... the "kids" is actually referring to my younger cousins and bro... they have planned something for those MUMS.... and they have a spy - IRENE !! she's the one who feed them with info on our whereabouts... !!! i knew it only when we reached the carpark... :P

my cousin was clever enough to park his car elsewhere from the usual spot to distract my aunt... and my aunt actually thought all of them were not at home !

and a LOVE shaped strawberry cake to complete the celebration...

see, they even take a photo of our car turning into the junction... hahaa...

since Irene already gave them info, they quickly locked the main door and hide inside quietly... while my aunt scolding outside the door... cos she doesnt have the main key for that wooden door !! hahahaaa...

after a few minutes, my cousin opened the door from inside... and together they shouted "Happy Mother's Day" ~~~ there's a video of it and i shall upload it in the next post... everyone was so shocked and of cos HAPPY...

next, it was time to give out the presents....

Wee Wai handed the gift to my second aunt from Gopeng...
