Final Part

finally, it's the last day of our short trip... we still have almost one full day to walk around cos our flight was a night flight... but, we actually have no where to go... hahaaa.... just walking around Waterfront and Main Bazaar again...

since we woke up quite late, we skipped our breakfast and had lunch behind Tun Jugah Mall....

i had Beef Kolo Mee and Siau Hui had Tomato Kuey Teow... it was her 3rd try and the best of all cos she finished it in no time...

after lunch, we walked to Handicraft Centre... nothing much there, so we proceed to Textile Museum...

we actually have no where else to go and visit... and the weather was very hot outside... we walked back to Waterfront...

we had some refreshing fruit punch at The Waterfront Cafe & Restaurant...

my Sarawak Punch tasted like cough syrup... *faint*

Umai Ikan... it's raw fish salad consists of thin slivers of raw fish, thinly sliced onions, chilli, salt and the juice of lime... the small bowl is toasted sago pearls... something special that we dont have in KL...

after spending almost 1 hour plus drinking and reading newspaper... we decided to walk around Tun Jugah Mall.... it's quite new and some shops are not opened yet...

after some walk, i managed to get my birthday pressie !!! hahaa....

i bought a notebook - Acer 4530... :P some said Acer is not a good brand, but i dont care.. cos i really like the design of the notebook... especially it's black in colour... hahaa.... i've been eyeing it for quite some time... at last, i GOT it... yahoooo.....

my new baby.... heheee... i'm Lovin' it !!

i'm crazy rite ?? went there all the way and brought back a notebook... nothing else to do, huh ?? hahaaa....

we went back to pack our stuff and had our last dinner at Kuching before departed to airport... our flight originally was scheduled at 8.50pm, but when we checked-in, the flight time changed to 9.25pm.... luckily, the flight departed early and we managed to reach LCCT around 11pm, 20 mins ahead schedule... we reached in time to catch the Skybus to KL Sentral.... but but, we're not that lucky actually... the bus broke down not even half way... and we waited around 30mins for another bus to rescue us...

reached home at 12-ish....

dead tired...

Part II

day 2 - rise and shine !!

we woke up as early as 8am... cos we've booked a half day tour to Sarawak Cultural Village from a local travel agency.. it cost each of us RM100 for a 4hours half day trip... we went there by a car and reached in about 45 mins.... it's 35km away from Kuching city, on the foothill of Mount Santubong...

we started our journey to Rumah Bidayuh...

it was the last house before we went for the 45mins - cultural show at the mini theatre... it was a great multi-cultural performance....

OMG OMG.... he selected me among the audiences and brought me up to the stage !!! he asked me to tried out the sumpit...

i failed twice, unable to shoot the balloon... at last, he brought me nearer and i made it !!! i was already shaking on the stage... hahaaa... what an experience...

after the show ended, we went for lunch at the Restaurant Budaya...

we left the place around 1-ish... our half day trip supposed to end there but we Christopher was kind enough to bring us to a Kek Lapis Factory at Kg Grisek...

we tried out the Belacan Meehoon with Cuttlefish and Century eggs... not bad eh !!

we had our last dinner in Kuching at Satok again...

we're really really tired by the end of the day....

it's all about eating and walking and eating...
