No Update

sorry for the lack of update...

and for your info, i will not update this blog at least for a month or so... as some of you already know, my Dad is admitted in hospital since 2nd of July...

nothing good it seems but hope he will get well soon...

it was my second visit there... this time, i went with Edmund, one of my ex-boss in Electcoms (i've transferred to 3 different departments, so i have 3 ex-boss !!) hahaa... as said last time, i will try out the Nabe set on my next visit... hehee...

this is the basic for every set ordered....

he had Chicken Nabe set (RM 19.00)...

i ordered RibEye Nabe Set (RM 22.00)....

there's nothing so special about the NABE actually... to me, it's just like the normal steamboat but with few very thin slices of meat... plus lots and lots of vegetables... !!! good for people on DIET... hahaa...

since we slept quite late night before, most of us woke up late.. hehee... as there's only 3 rooms for 16 of us, some of us need to sleep at living hall... and, i'm one of them.. hahaaa....

after packing our stuffs, we headed to Hoe Kee Chicken Rice for our brunch... luckily we dropped Daniel F and gf to queue up first while we find our parkings... we need not wait and queue again... hehee...

after stuffing ourselves with food, some of them went to Dataran Pahlawan for some shopping... and we went to next door - San Shu Gong to buy some local delicacies....

they also tried out the Durian Chendol there.... YUMMY !!

then, we walked slowly to take our cars but most of us stopped at the riverside and an old building to take photos... lots and lots of photossssss.... some even posed like bridal shoots...

after wasting around half than hour taking photos.... we headed to Eye on Malaysia for another photo shooting session...

after burning ourselves under the hot sun, we decided to go for some cooling air at Dataran Pahlawan and join the rest.... bought a pair of white shoe there... hehee...

next, we went to Seremban for dinner....

then, we went for second round eating nearby - pork intestine satay with Dear's ex-boss and his family !! opss, forgotten to snap a pic of it... hehee...

after much eating, we headed back home separately !!

it's a great trip for all of us... looking forward to another group outing, a bigger group perhaps ?!!

- Part 1 -

yesss.... it's another trip to Melaka... this time went with another group of friends and cousins... my high school friends.... :) :)

16 of us travelled in 4 cars... me and Dear went to Senawang - Giant before joining them in the evening... he had a booth there for 10 days.... reached Melaka around 6.30pm and we went straight to Mahkota Hotel to join the rest of them....

some of them were playing mahjong while waiting for dinner time..

initially, we planned to have dinner at Portugis Settlement but too bad we couldn't find a parking as they were having some festival - San Pedro festival... so, we changed our mind and had Nyonya meal at Melaka Raya instead.... it was already 9-ish, everyone was so hungry and we didnt take any photo... :P

after dinner, all of us went to the famous Jonker Street... next, we went for beer and karaoke at The Nest... it was my second visit there... heheee... :P

after a few rounds of beer, we went back separately.... some went back to hotel, some went for supper and we went to The Jetty for a walk and SUPPER - satay celup....
