last Friday, i went back to Gopeng after work... the traffic was quite congested at the PLUS highway from Rawang towards Batang Kali... but luckily i'm not the driver... hehee... since we have lots of things to bring over for the Qing Ming, my dad borrowed his brother's Toyota Avanza... :P
we left at around 8.30pm after dinner and reached Gopeng quite late at 11pm... we had our supper at Lawan Kuda(quite a funny name)... overnited at my uncle's house at Gopeng...
p/s: all the photos during the trip are taken with my brother's Sony Ericsson K810i Cybershot camera phone... :)
next, we headed straight to Penang.... as usual, i dozed off in the car till I reached my aunt's house at Seberang Perai...
my cousin's little gal... she's very cute and adorable, isnt she ??we just stopped there for a while to grab something for the Qing Ming... and we were off to Penang Island for breakfast...
since we're young, we like to drink this Sirap + Susu (Bandung) at Penang... we had lots of food for breakfast... didnt take much photo.. just me, eating the Popiah... :)after much eating, we continued our main mission of the trip - Qing Ming...
nice pic... green green grass....
cleaning my Grandfather's grave (taken with my Nokia N81)...after burning our skin under the hot sun for around 2 hours... we left the place for lunch at Transfer Road...
me in da mirror !
Clockwise L-R: My favourite dish - the irresistible Assam Prawn... it's quite different from others and really tasted so yummy, Fried Egg with Prawns, Belacan Kangkung and "Mm Heong"(some spices) pork... we ordered a vege soup as well.. :)
it's all about eating in Penang...then, we checked-in to YMCA International Hostel at Macalister Road... i've stayed there before with my colleagues somewhere last year.. and, for a 5-bedded room with breakfast, it cost us RM105nett only !! since it was just one night stay, we didnt spend much on our lodging... :) it's a wise decision, isnt it ?
didnt take any photos in the room though, but for more info about YMCA Penang, you can login to http://www.ymcapg.com/.. and, that's what i did.. :)
all of us were dead tired and took our nap in the room till dinner time... this time, we went to the famous Gurney Drive for dinner... there's so many hawker stalls with varieties of food there... soon after we parked our car, we walked around the place and took some photos while waiting for my uncle... his whole family were staying at Gurney Hotel, which is 20mins walk to the eateries...
while waiting, i suddenly have this idea of doing some funny stuff...

okay, back to the reality.... we ordered lots of food for our dinner.... especially those famous Penang delicacies such as Rojak, Sotong Kangkung, Prawn noodle and etc...
it's just part of the food we ordered...
busy eating...after dinner, we went for a walk at Batu Ferringhi night market... they sell lots of stuff such as souvenirs, t-shirts, cheap DVDs and they even sell some fake branded handbag....
camwhored in the car...can you spot the Chanel handbag there ??
it's me !!i bought some DVD, which cost only RM4 per disc.... next, we went to my Grand Aunt's shop at Kimberly Street, somewhere near Komtar.... me and my brother had Snow Jelly (suet kap in cantonese) and Gui Ling Gao at a shop nearby...
it can promotes beauty and health benefits to those who consume it regularly... and it cost us RM 12 for it... Gui Ling Gao... :)then, we packed some fried mee and meehoon back to our hostel for supper... hahaa...
and, all of us snored till the next morning... :)

Penang - Day 2
all of us woke up quite early... since there's only once bathroom, we took turns to shower... and went for our breakfast at the cafetaria inside the building...
after breakfast, we packed our stuff and went for another breakfast... hahaa...
nice cap ??? waited patiently for our food... here it comes.... the Kuey Teow soup with duck meat... that's the spare part of the duck on the purple plate...after much eating, it's time to go back....
we stopped for late lunch at Gopeng... and reached home around dinner time...
that's all about it.. :)
