i actually have 2 official photographers - Ken & Gino for my big day but i still havent get those photos from them.... luckily i have a few other "photographers" too...

this set of great photos were taken by K. Ukawo... hehehee... he's actually my cousin - Kar Woh.... that's his nick name... thanks, "Biao Ge" !!!

you may have seen these photos in Facebook, but i've stolen it from there and re-posted it in my blog... :P

yoooo guysss....

i'm back from my one week honeymoon at Bali... i have had a great time there !!

but being back to reality - sucks !! hahaa...

anyway, it's time to update my blog slowly, be patient ok ??? :)

let's start with the pre-wedding buffet dinner at the poolside at my condo...

early morning, my godparents already came to our place to hang the red cloth(given by the groom) on our door... it needs to be done by a married couple for some good reason.. :)

it was still a busy day for me... travel here and there - finalizing things !! until i reached home around 5-ish !! it was drizzling by then, but we still carried on...

a pic with my ji muis.... remember this dress ? it was my Maid-of-Honour dress for my cousin's wedding few years back... hehee...

and my relatives who seems to co-incidentally wear the CNY color - RED/PINK !!

we're actually filing up our time while waiting for the caterer to come... it was already 7pm and they were late and stuck in the jam... no thanks to the "rain"... :P

another chinese customary to complete "the chinese marriage"...

it's the day where the bride bring all the "kah jong" (i didnt know what it's called in english... :P) to the groom's house... "kah jong" can be new clothes, new toiletries, new towels and all the new stuff...

i went over with one of my ji mui - Siau Hui... :)

she's been helping me with these decorations as well....

the accessories stand was given by Aunt Mee Yong, she bought it from London...

my DKNY red apple perfume and the "Tri Angel" given by Aunt Alice long long time ago... remember the popular drama series ???

after the "kah jong" thingie, i went for facial with my Dear and my mum.... and, we had dinner at Murni - the biggest and famous mamak stall in SS2... hahaa...

guess what ??

we went to karaoke right after our dinner !!!

another busy day for me...

took leave on the 14th Jan for the Guo Dai Lai ceremony... another chinese customary that need to be done...

i woke up as early as 7am and went to market with my mum and aunt Mee Yong who came back all the way from London to attend my wedding... she's actually back for "winter break" also... hehe....

some of my aunts were helping us on that day also...

Busy Month

it's been a busy month for me - January !!

busy preparing myself and lots of stuff for my BIG day coming very soon... just around the corner....

it's scary !!!

hope everything will be smooth sailing...

the "Guo Dai Lai" (betrothal ceremony) will be on this coming Thursday...

guest list, check....

caterer, check....

evening gown, yet to confirm... :P

photo album, not ready (my bridal house made some mistake with the printing, hope can get it by this week !!)

liquor, check.... (hope it's enough, hahaaa)

this may be a very long post, but please read it and you might save your valuables....

to people out there, especially those Penangite, please beware of this woman - she is a CONWOMAN / SWINDLER / THIEF ...

there's this case happened at Paya Terubong, Penang on the 19th December 2009.... on the wedding day of my Dear's cousin brother....

my Dear's mum was following the Groom's entourage to the Bride's house at some village area... when she parked her car, she saw this Conwoman in a Kenari parked right behind her car.... her first thought was that the woman is from the Bride's side... nothing suspicious yet !!

after the tea ceremony finished at Bride's side, the Conwoman cleverly followed the entourage back to the Groom's house... she was all alone, eating alone and sitting at a corner alone... during the tea ceremony, there're 2 kids playing with an E-series Nokia handphone... here started her first trick, she told the kids to stop playing as the battery very low... she took the phone from the kids and put it in between some cardboards behind them... (these was told by the kids after being questioned)...

after so long, it was when my Dear's uncle looking for his handphone, then only they noticed something had happened, unexpectedly !! in the end, they found out that 3 handphones were missing... and, the woman no longer seen in the house... they immediately checked the cameras and lucky enough to find 1 (ONE) photo of the THIEF... they showed the photo around asking the people from both side, and NOBODY know her !!

luckily the Conwoman didnt take any of the handbags in the house which was full of cash + jewelleries.... i think it will be noticeable if she really did that !!

ohh my GOD, it's daylight robbery....

lesson of the day: if you happen to be in a place full of peoples, please make sure you keep your belongings with you all the time, even if you're in your own house... :)

time flies....

another year gone... last year (i mean last last year, cos we're in 2010 now.. hehe....), my mum cooked and we had the so-called "gathering dinner" at home... this year(2009), we had the dinner at my godmother's house at Sunway SPK...

New Year Eve's "Celebration" at Desa Park City

compared to last year, they had a bigger countdown celebration this year with 30 over booths selling party stuff, foods, drinks, clothes and etc.... kinda sad cos my Dad didnt survived this year's new year eve... i miss you, Dad !!!

see the quoted "celebration" ??? cos i don't really celebrated my new year eve there... during the last 2 hours counting down to the year 2010, i was busy helping my Dear selling those Glow in Dark sticks.... non-stop !!! until the very last minute to 12am !! hahaa.... i think we sold around 500 pcs in just a short period !! :P

this year's firework was much nicer than last year.... i think the crowd also tripled compared to last year.... :)

right after the countdown, we went for poker at my Dear's friend's house till 4-ish !!!

i've got nothing better to do actually...

1st Day of 2010 @ Midvalley

it's the first day of the brand new year.... it's shopping day for me and my Dear since the Year End Sale gonna end soon...

i think it's our belated Christmas celebration too... hahaa...

when i said "shopping day", i really mean it.... you see, i dont really shop so much cos i get tired walking easily... and, the mall was really packed with human-beings !!!

we spent around 5-6 hours at Midvalley !!!

we ended up bringing these plastic bags home !!

i bought 6 tops and a shorts for myself, 2 polo shirts for my bro, my Dear bought 5 tops and a long pants.... and also, some make up stuffs....

it's all mine... my Dear bought me the curler :)

we left Midvalley around 9pm and had teo-chew porridge at Yulek for late dinner...

and, we're officially BROKE !!! :(
