103 ?!

got an email from a friend, dont know how true is it... just sharing with you guys....

Dear all,

The following was confirmed by Maxis.

STOP CALLING *103* through your MAXIS number.

If you are using Maxis network and please be alert that now the new charges for making 103 (TM Directory) was increased from 30 sen to RM2.00 per call.

I just found out from my maxis statement dated 21/6/08 today and I rang up the Maxis 123 and been told the new rate started in May 2008 (which non of the Maxis users are aware of this increase) and since I'm not aware of this new adjustment, they are willing to waive it for this month only (RM2.00 per call to 103).

Shocking right?

Bangkok - Part III

just came back from Kampar actually... hehee...

here comes the part III and the final part of my Bangkok trip....

- Day 4 -

we woke up slightly late cos of the beer we drank night before... heheee... packed our stuff and checked out... had our last complimentary breakfast at hotel... put our luggage at the hotel and

we walked around looking for a hair salon.... Michelle planned to go for massage and facial but she cancelled her plan cos she was too tired... heheee.... it's not only our shopping trip, it became a pampering-ourselves trip also... hahaa.....

we found one salon nearby... :) Siau Hui already washed her hair earlier...

then, we took sky train again to Siam Paragon.... it's something similar to KLCC back in Malaysia but more branded and designer shop here at Siam Paragon.... not for us... hahaa !!!

the huge shopping mall....

it's really so big and we're too lazy to walk, so we took a free buggy ride around the mall... hahaa....

we're too tired walking actually and have no where to go... suddenly, there's this one Thai guy approached us... he speaked good English, claiming himself from the Tourist Information Centre.... he saw us holding our map and tried to help us.... but he's a semi-conman... hahaaa....he recommended us to go to a so-called Thai Export Centre which he said was meant for local and not tourist !!

he helped us to get a Tuk Tuk to the Export Centre and a temple at only 60baht for 3 of us which is considered very cheap... cos, normally our Tuk Tuk trip cost us 100baht on average.. !! hahaa.... but it was the worst Tuk Tuk ride of our entire trip because of the extremely HOT weather and exhaust pipe fume from other cars... :( such a TERRIBLE experience !!

this Tuk Tuk carried more than 6 students... crazy !!

Wat Sam Praya... it's located near a pier....

a gold Buddhist statue inside the temple...

me !!

then, we walked to the pier... saw some Thai students feeding fishes there.... not a few but thousands of fishes....

see the fishes behind me ???

crazy fishes fighting for food !!

nice view at the pier...

new Tuk Tuk driver ?? hehee... our driver went to toilet la... :P

had local delicacies at the food court at MBK Mall...

does someone has to be "Yum Saap" (cantonese) to eat here.. ?? hahaa... cute ler...

colourful fruit juices.... i had one bottle of it everyday during my trip...

then, we took Sky train back to Thong Lo station... took a cab to airport...

this guy was very helpful... he helped us during our stay there...

a pic with our luggages... i was so clumsy, i left the key of my padlock inside my luggage.... hahaa...

three of us again...

i wore this newly bought jacket... almost the same as Michelle's... :P

Suvarnabumi Airport.... nice ??

last pic before we departed Bangkok...

Bye bye, Bangkok !!

Bangkok - Part II

Bangkok Part II

- Day 3 -

woke up with a tired feet.... had breakfast at hotel again... our mission on this day was to attack Mah Boon Krong Mall (MBK) and Platinum Mall....

took this while waiting for Michelle to have a puff of fresh air... hehee...

MBK Mall...

we spent hours walking in MBK without buying anything... damn disappointed... but, at last we managed to find a place to spend our $$$... hahaaa....

guess what ???

foot massage + pedicure + manicure !!!

just the 3 of us...

it was our first foot massage by male masseurs.... can i redefine it ?? CUTE MALE MASSEURS !! but, they took away my cute masseur halfway.... cos they dont have enough masseurs !!! didnt even capture a photo of the cute boy... iskks.. iskk..... =.="

from a cute thai boy to a powerful masseur... not bad leh... :P

a cup of tea after the massage session....

the masseur even helped me to tie my hair...

facial anyone at this open area ???

Michelle a bit "hiao", she chose 2 different colours for her nails - BLACK + RED ...

Michelle was very pissed at the manicurist cos she hurts her finger nails till it bleeds.... see the blood ??!

after our so-called relaxing session, we had our late lunch again at Shabushi... it cost us RM 27 nett per person for 1 hour and 15 mins dining time...

the 1 hour difference between Bangkok and KL really made us confuse sometimes.. hahaa... especially Siau Hui... she was blur like sotong especially when it comes to the currency exchange - Thai Baht...

camwhored while waiting for our table...

we asked a Singaporean to take this pic for us... hehee...

time for food !!!

we had clear and spicy soup... and we ate lots and lots of food... especially the bacon stripes... other than Sashimi, i LOVE bacon also.... they even served Sashimi Sushi, Prawn tempura and Gyoza...

this time we asked help from next table Mat Salleh to take this pic... and we helped them in return... :)

know what, i accidently stained Siau Hui's shirt with the soup... as a compensation, i bought her a top.... but i paid her RM10 only, the balance she paid herself... no budget la.... hahaaa....

she changed it on the spot.... nice ??

then, we proceed to Platinum Mall via taxi... since it was peak hours as claimed by the taxi driver, we need to pay him 100baht without using the meter...

once we entered the building, we managed to purchase some tops and shorts.... with a very GOOD price (wholesale price above 2 pcs)... but, we're quite disappointed that it closed very early at 6-ish... hahaa... we wasted too much time at MBK !!

see those plactic bags ??? hahaaa....

there's a whole stretch of Tuk Tuk in front of Platinum Mall...

after some rest, we took a Tuk Tuk to Pat Phong night market which is famous for Tiger Show/ Ping Pong Show/ Pussy Show or whatever show... you name it, they have it !! hahaaa.... again, we're very much disappointed with the things there... out of our expectation... it's a place recommended for people who wanna go for those SHOWS....

this time, we took a cab to Suan Lum night bazaar again but not for shopping...

it's our first drinking session at Bangkok.... luckily we managed to reach before the rain started to pour....

our pic again...

ordered a 3 litre Chang Beer tower...

a pic with the tower....

nice nails ?? hehee.....

there was a band singing on the stage...

we lepaked at Suan Lum for around 2 hours... and we headed back to hotel via cab again....

i bought very little only... heheee...

end of the day, Siau Hui was a bit high... hahaa.... all of us slept at around 2-ish.... another tiring day...

to be continued.....
