it's another Friday... and, we decided to have our dinner at The Ship at Damansara Utama... no special occassion... no celebration or anything... :P

by the way, our meal was sponsored by Mummy (there's a reason but im not telling you... :P) hehee.....

it's been very very long since we last dine in at THE SHIP... i still remember when we were still kids, my dad used to bring us to The Ship or Victoria Station whenever there's a birthday or even Christmas eve... another favourite spot was THE COLISEUM... :)

started off with a piece of bread.... YUMS !!

mixed salad with lots of Thousand island...

the irresistible half dozen of baked Escargots in garlic sauce (RM15.90)....

a bowl of piping hot Mushroom soup (RM 6.90)....

Mum had this Grilled Lamb Chop (RM 33.90).... it was very tasty !! 2 thumbs up !!!

i'm lovin' it....

my bro had a Medium Well Sirloin Steak (RM 47.90).... the meat was very tender, not bad !!

and a Crispy Spring Chicken (RM 21.90) for myself... this was so-so... it was crispy outside but the meat was kinda dry and tasteless....

next celebration ?? it's Mum's birthday in Aug... we will wait for you, YY (to share the damages.. hahaa....) !!

another gathering dinner for me... i personally think year 2010 is a great year for "gathering"... especially among high school friends and college/coursemates... heheee...

this time, if not mistaken, it was the first or second official gathering for our Mantissa Institute - SE May '01 batch... anyway, it was just a small group gathering, the closer one... not the whole batch la :)

i still remember during our time in college, Kev, Eric, me and Catherine used to be in the same group for the projects/assignments... in short, we are called a piece of C-A-K-E... which stands for Catherine, Atrica, Kevin and Eric... hahaa...

another wedding in the See family... this time, it's at Seremban... since i have nothing to do on Saturday morning, so i decided to join the seniors See & Soo family to Seremban for the tea ceremony...

we left KL around 8-ish... reached just in time to watch the groom being "played"...

it was raining in the evening, luckily the jam was not so bad... we managed to reach before 7.30pm for the cocktail session... there were so many people, i think there's around 90 tables in the grand ballroom... WOW !!

my Dear's high school's friend - Jersey and her hubby came back from UK... so we had a makan-makan session together... this time, we went to Hau Kee Seafood Restaurant at Taman Cheras...

it's my 3rd visit if not mistaken... the food was quite good... but i didnt bring my camera, so no photos of the food... anyway, everyone was too hungry and whacked the food when it's served... :P

we just took a group photo only with Su Hwee's camera... sitting next to me is my colleague - Adeline the "sam pat".. heheee...

opsss... this was so long ago... almost a month long...

i totally forgot to update in my blog... hehee...

it's our first official gathering among the galss, after so many yearssssssssss (the reason why there are 10 "s", its because Siew Wai and Hsuen Ni havent seen each other for 10 freaking years !! hahaa...)

too bad Sien Yee and Tina couldn't make it... so, only left 4 of us...

we only managed to capture one/two photos with our iphones... :P

it was a 2d1n short getaway from the busy city to another busy city (City of Entertainment)... hahahaa....

since Genting is so generous to give free rooms to the members, i managed to book a room on Sunday... they also gave a meal voucher and 4 tickets to watch the latest show at Pavilion, First World Hotel - The Dazzle (it was actually quite a boring show, nothing much compared to the previous shows) !!

we reached around 1-ish... and quickly went to check in our room... it doesn't looked like a normal Sunday with a long queue waiting to check in... we queued up for 20 mins, just to get our number... and waited for more than 2 hours (there was 324 people ahead us) just to check-in to First World Hotel.... on a Sunday, not even school holiday... and it's CRAZY !!!

while waiting for our number, we went to the Casino for a while and my bro went for a drink at Coffee Bean cafe... managed to checked in around 4-ish.. rested a while, met up with Jessie and spent some time with them... had buffet dinner and watched The Dazzle till 10pm...

then me and my Dear went walking around the indoor theme park at First World Hotel... since Jessie gave us a ticket earlier, we bought another ticket at RM8 (one person) for the ride... so expensive ??? i still remember it was only RM 4 or something last time... hahaa...

the hubby being "forced" for the ride...
