Short Getaway @ Koh Samui

- Day 1 -

went for a short trip to Koh Samui during one of the weekend... it's actually our company trip... hehee... our 1st trip was to Phuket in January last year... we supposed to join PDM Singapore and Bangkok for the trip, in the end, only PDM KL made it...

this year, we had more people, 8 of us from PDM KL and 2 from ADC, our contractor...

we took an early flight... had breakfast at McD...

Bok, me and Yuen....

we were flew to Koh Samui by this aircraft...

after two hours, we reached Koh Samui safely...

we're transferred to the arrival hall via this mini bus or train ? :P

there were only 2 immigration counters, so we're waiting for the rest to come out...

somebody from the hotel picked us up....

a welcome drink while waiting for me to check-in - IMPIANA SPA RESORT...

me and Rachel shared this spacious room for 2 nights...

everyone rested for a while and changed to some light and comfy clothing before heading out for lunch... the weather was really HOT !!!

took a Tuk Tuk to Chaweng beach...

blek....

saw this pig being roasted at the roadside... :P

after some walk, we stopped at Ninja Cafe and had some local food....

this fish cost us 299Baht...

we had Green Curry chicken, Curry crab, stir fried morning glory aka kangkung and fish cakes...

fried egg, barbeque sotong, a fish and prawn Tom Yam soup...

after our heavy lunch, we went back to our hotel to enjoy the sea, sun and sand !!!

saw this cute angmoh couple taking pics for each other... got sexy pose some more !!

Rachel and the rest went swimming in the sea and suddenly she brought back this live Starfish... but later, she sent it back to the sea....

then, they went swimming in the pool...

Yuen in his attempt to throw Bok to the swimming pool... and he succeeded !!

so happy !!

and, the second victim - Yeong from ADC...

after cleaning up, we took a Tuk Tuk to the same place and had our dinner....

inside the Tuk Tuk...

had our dinner at this small restaurant located behind the busy street...

we ordered Romy's favourite fried egg, Ewa's favourite fish cakes, green curry again and my favourite TOM YAM !!

we also had La La which was not so good, fried fish, some beef and Tang Hoon prawn in claypot...

walked around the busy street till late...
