Bangkok - Part I

4 days 3 nights @ Bangkok

19/07/08 - 22/07/08

here i come... let's begin with the first part of my short trip to Bangkok...

our flight was scheduled at 10.20pm... my bro sent us to LCCT... luckily we reached early, cos it was postponed about 20 minutes and they offered us the earlier flight at 8.20pm... which was just another half an hour to go... hahaaaa... saved our waiting time !!

we took a cab to our budget hotel at Sukhumvit Soi 57.... Sukhumvit Sawasdee Inn....

our room was located at the 4th floor, luckily there was a kind and helpful staff helped us to carry our luggages... a big King size bed for us... :)

all of us were so tired, slept at 1-ish....

- Day 2 -

at the mini restaurant outside the hotel... we had complimentary breakfast from the hotel...

basically, we had this for 3 consecutive mornings.... omelette with bacon/sausages, pancake.... fruits and coffee/tea...

after breakfast, we started our first shopping session at the famous weekend market - Chatuchak !! walked for less than 10 mins to the nearest BTS station - Thong Lo Station... took the sky train to the last station - Mo Chit Station... walked for around 4 hours at Chatuchak... all of us managed to grab some cheap stuffs there....

when there is no mirror around, this is what we did... put the shirt on, take a photo and check it out in the camera... hahaa... fyi, i bought this mini t-shirt, nice ??? :)

we had this yummy duck noodle for our late lunch... the soup was so delicious and tasty !!

went back to the hotel to clean up ourselves... then, we walked for about 15 mins to a massage centre for Thai Body Massage - Healthland Spa.....

saw the elephant on the road while walking... something special about Thailand !!

we were given a cup of ginger tea after the massage...

next, we're off for dinner at Chinatown... this time, we took a cab which cost us less than 100baht... had a scrumptious seafood dinner....

yummy Thai delicacies.... we even had fresh oysters and cockles... :P

not forgetting, a bowl of BIRD NEST !!

then, we took a Tuk Tuk to Suan Lum Night Bazaar...

we just walked for a while at Suan Lum Night Bazaar as it was getting quite late... took a cab back to our hotel....

Quick Updates

helloooo people...

i'm back from B-A-N-G-K-O-K , the shopping heaven !!!!

it's not shop till i drop, but i walked till drop !! damn tired ler... hahaa....

but before any updates on my Bangkok trip, i would like to share a good news here....

my sis will be getting married soon...

hehee....

no laa..... not very soon... they will register first at Kampar this coming FRIDAY and the wedding ceremony will be in next year !!

after work, i took LRT to Bdr Tasik Selatan... stopped at Masjid Jamek and took STAR LRT... i've no car to go back cos my sis was on leave and she needed the car.... my bro picked me up at the station and we went to look for our relatives who lives at Bandar Tasik Selatan...

lepaked for a while at Ching Jeh's house while waiting for her husband to come back from Ipoh... we had pizza to stuff our hungry stomach while waiting... and also sang a few songs - home Karaoke... hehee... actually she's not our aunt, because of the ranking... she should call my bro uncle instead... she's my relative from my dad's side... hahaa... it's quite complicated, those ranking thingie.... all started from China years back... :P

anyway, back to the topic.... after that, we had Korean food for dinner at Woo Ga Chon at Ampang... it was our first time eating there... recommended by her friend... we sat at a private room...

phew... so damn full... we ate till they closed at 10pm....

Zipangu & Shamrock

this afternoon, i had lunch at Zipangu with Bok and our supplier, Lina... it was a Japanese restaurant inside Shangri La Hotel, which is located next to my office... hehee....

it was my first time eating at Zipangu.... previously we had our company dinner at Lemon Garden Cafe.... all of us ordered set lunch which comes with a chawanmushi, rice, miso soup, pickles and veges....

my sis's boyfriend came back from Hong Kong today for a short holiday... all of us had dinner together nearby Kepong....

then, i went to Shamrock at Hartamas for some drinks with Chee San and Siau Hui.... it is ladies night every Thursday and Saturday... actually, we have planned this for so long but yet to go there... hehee... at last,we did it... !!! hahaaa... nothing much, we just gossip chit-chatted and update each other cos we didnt see each other for quite some time... >.<"

oppsss.... we're too busy talking and we forgotten to snap some pic... hahaaa... next time laa.. :P

altogether, we had 3 rounds of drinks.... i had 2 glasses of Margharita and Pina Colada (yuckss, i don't like it at all !!)... Siau Hui had Screwdriver, Cranberry Vodka and Pina Colada... Chee San also had Margharita, Cranberry Vodka and Pina Colada !! actually, all of us had the same for our last round -

basically, Siau Hui doesnt like all her drinks, and she didnt even finished them.... hahaa... only Hennessy, Black Label, Chivas and etc etc can makes her happy... hahaa... just kidding !!

all of us went home separately at 11pm... :)

Lack of Updates

hi all....

sorry for the lack of updates in this humble blog of mine...

i just went thru some mild depression unhappy time .... due to some personal problems... yea, it's really personal, you wouldnt want to know !! :P

my sleeping pills ??? hahaa....

but, what the heck.... life must go on, no matter how !!!!

now i'm back ALIVE !!! hahaaa...

at this moment, i AM very exciting and looking forward to my 1st bang-cock BANGKOK trip this weekend with my girlfriends.... hehee... shopping and more shopping...... SHOP-TILL-WE-DROP !!! hahahaaa....

it was a last minute planning for this bbq party... we decided on Thursday afternoon during our lunch time.. heheee... another makan-makan and get-together-drinking-gossiping session... :)

went for shopping with my boss, Romy aka Hugo at Tesco, Mutiara Damansara... shopped for almost 2 hours....

went back to his place for food preparation.... went home for some rest before i went there again at 6.30pm....
