it was a Monday..... luckily not a bored Monday, quite busy with work... everyone looking forward to attack the food at Lemon Garden Cafe !! hehee... earlier, we planned to start our dinner as early as 5.30pm, but too bad, the buffet dinner only started at 7pm... so, we've no choice but to follow their time.... but, i went there earlier with my boss to have a drink before our dinner.... the rest of them joined us around 7pm....

okay, after taking some photos.... it's time to ATTACK the food !!!!

my cold starter.... Sashimi feast - my favourite !!

followed by another plate of Sashimi + fresh Oysters + mussel + big prawns = DELICIOUS !!!


next, i had Shrimp Martini.... and that's Tuna Steak and Scallop in the small plate...

smoked salmon, some mushrooms + asparagus... before i eat anything on this plate, i had a dessert in between - Strawberries dipped in the chocolate fondue !!! :P

after few rounds of food, it's time for desserts... though i had a stick of the strawberries earlier, that's not enough !!! we've been spoilt by the wide range of desserts... from white/dark chocolate to mini fruit tarts and ice kacang, and also there are 6 flavours of ice cream to choose from.... fattening ler... hahaa....

wow.... time flies.... another Friday night.... another clubbing night ??!!!

this time, went to Scarlet again.... it was my first visit to Scarlet in year 2008... hehee...

had dinner nearby my house before i went over there at 11pm... met up with Siau Hui and her Jenjarom gang.... including her cousin and his friends.... this time, she asked more gals to join the group... Grace, Ice, Jean Nee and her sis... opsss, forgotten her name... :P

there are many peoples at our table but of course i didnt take photos with them.... not so close ma.. hehee...know what, the world is so small... bumped into my coursemate - Erica... she was my senior - one batch earlier than mine but we attended a few classes together... didnt see her for at least 4 years since we graduated in year 2003 !! not long after, i saw another old friend of mine.... Eddie.. and so happen, he was a friend of Erica also... and they were sitting at the table next to us only... hehee.... happy me !!

i think we have around 15 of us that night...and Siau Hui's friend opened 6 bottles of Hennesy... i was quite tipsy but definitely not drunk !! :P

left the place at 1am... good gal ma.... :)

Boss Wedding @ Singapore

DAY 1

ellooo... ellooo... sorry for the lack of updates.... been very busy with work lately.... heheee...

went to Singapore for my boss's wedding last weekend... our contractor - Yuen fetched me from my house and we picked up Rachel and our client - Patrick at KL... by the way, he is a Singaporean... four of us departed early in the morning, stopped at Ayer Keroh rest area to have our breakfast... bumped into my cousin there... he was with his friend's wedding entourage to Muar to bring back the bride... hehee... i was very tired as i slept quite late the night before, so i doze off all the way till we reached Singapore around afternoon....

we entered Singapore via Second Link highway... we encountered some problem with the Singapore Custom's Officer... i bet they were too free and have nothing better to do... it's just because we have 2 new pack of cigarettes in the car... and the officer claimed that we entered the "Nothing to Declare" lane and they can actually fine us S$200 for each pack.... he even ransacked Rachel's backpack... she's just so unlucky !!

checked-in to Hotel 81 Tristar at Joo Chiat, too bad the rooms were not ready yet... so, we left our luggage there and headed to Boss's place at Geylang.... it was quite near to the hotel we're staying... i left the camera at office, ended up we just took some photos with Patrick's camera... and he has yet to pass me any photos... sob sobbb... but will post it up as soon as i get it from him... hehee...

we lepaked there for around 2 hours.... then, Patrick sent us back to the hotel to rest... shared a room with Rachel, and we took a short nap till 6.30pm....

cleaned up ourselves and waited for Patrick at the hotel lobby.... although the hotel was not so big, but the room was quite spacious... with a big double bed...:)

we had our dinner at a seafood restaurant called "No Signboard Seafood".... the famous dish was the Chilli Crab !! yummy yummy... but i still prefers the Sweet and Sour crab in KL... hehee...

and, this was the main dish - Chilli Crab...

all of us ate till very full... Patrick spent us the meal... :) next, we headed to K Box at Kallang Leisure Park nearby for our karaoke session.... Rachel's friend was working there... he's the manager of the branch there.... and gave us some special discount and free snacks...

Patrick left the place early with his daughter... left 3 of us there... we drank few jugs of beers and sang till the place close at 4am.... Sam booked a taxi for us... slept at almost 5am !!

DAY 2

supposed to wake up early for breakfast, but we were too tired.... ended up, both of us woke up around 12pm.... and the last check out time is 12.30pm... luckily Yuen will be staying for 2 more days... once checked-out, we put our bags in his room.... then, both of us walked to the nearest MRT Station - Paya Lebar.... it's about 10mins walking.... we took MRT to Bugis for lunch... we wanted to eat McDonald, but the place was too packed.. so, we went for MOS Burger...

after lunch, she met up with her 2 sisters there... i couldnt walk much as i was wearing my new heels... which made my toes damn pain !! bought some plasters at Watsons and had bubble tea while waiting for her.... we took MRT back to Paya Lebar and walked back to hotel...

took our bags in Yuen's room... Patrick fetched us at 4.30pm... took the Second Link... not so many cars there... we stopped for dinner at Ayer Keroh rest area... reached KL at 10pm !!

brought my family for lunch at Restaurant O & S at Paramount... used to have my lunch there during my days in Electcoms... kinda miss the food there especially the Assam Laksa and Chee Cheong Fun... since it was Sunday, the place was so packed with people and we even waited for 10mins to get a table...

after that, we headed to Amcorp Mall... spent the whole Sunday afternoon there... my dad has a project there, and we accompanied him.... we walked and shopped around while waiting for him... bought a pair of heels, eyeshadow and some hair care products....

wow... another Friday, another clubbing night for me ?? hahaa... it's 3rd time in this month excluding the NYE countdown.... :P

no laa... this time just went to check out the new place at Sunway Pyramid.... it was the grand opening of Bar Celona... they served free foods and drinks till 9pm...

after work, i went for steamboat dinner at Manjalara with my godfather, Edmund... he's back from UK for Christmas holiday... then, drove to Shermaine's house and parked my car there... went there in her car.... :) reached around 10pm... met up with Bernard and his friends... heard from Bernard that the place was so packed and crowded earlier... by the time we reached, many people have left... hehee...

since Thursday is a public holiday, so we decided to hang out together...

ohh nooo... Mardigras again ?? the second time in the month of January.... and the previous visit was less than one week...hahaa... but of course, it's with different group of people... this time, went with some ex-colleagues from Electcoms... reached quiet early at 9-ish... the place was as quite as last week...

bumped into my mom's friend's son... he's working at Mardigras as Marketing and Event Planner... we used to "play" together during our young time... too bad, he couldnt recognised me... sigh... maybe i've gained lots of weight compared to last time... anyway, that was few years back.. i think at least 10 years back, sure got lots of changes... hahaa....

we drank till 2-ish... and went back home separately...

at last, it was a Friday again... another clubbing day for me ???

hahaa.... it was raining quite heavily, and i was supposed to take LRT to PJ for a dinner with a friend... ended up, i went back home with my sis after work... and, my friend fetched me from home... :P the traffic was as bad as usual...

after dinner, went back home and "transformed"... am i a transformer ?? hahaaa... no laa.. just changed into a casual top and jeans and i'm off to Mardi Gras... this time, i joined Siau Hui's brother's friends from her hometown - Jenjarom... she got the wrong information, and she was waiting for us at Sanctuary with her friends... :P Aquila joined our outing this time...

as usual, not much photos taken at this kind of places... hahaa....

Siau Hui's friend - SK and gang(less than 10 people) opened 6 bottles of Hennesy.. by the time we reached, they already finished 4 bottles and left 2 bottles for us..... the place was very quiet that night, less than 10 tables with people... i think it's because most of the people spent too much for the X'mas and New Year celebration week before that....

ohhh my.... i was quite tipsy after drinking a few glasses... cos i had some white wine during dinner time... Siau Hui sent me back around 3am and overnite at my place.... luckily, i only puked when i reached home in a half awake condition... hahaaa...

oh noo.... i'm such a lousy drinker... am i ??!! :P

NYE Countdown

wow.... time flies... it was the last day of year 2007 !!! too fast too furious... hahaa...

it's a MONDAY and it was a working day of course, but i left office as early as 4pm... holiday mood already and lazy bum bum... :P but, the traffic jam was as bad as normal peak hours... argghh !!! still managed to reach home at 5pm, watched some dvds and took some nap while waiting for Siau Hui to come...

i still remember i celebrated last year's New Year Eve at The Bed @ Heritage Row but this year, i went to The Sanctuary with Siau Hui and her friend, Michael.... he fetched us there at 8-ish... the traffic was quite congested at that time... but he still managed to get an illegal parking there... had our dinner at Thai Express.... and quite a late dinner for me... :(

after a while, three of us went to Sanctuary... opened a bottle of Hennesy VSOP... didnt managed to get any table inside but luckily the waitress got us a nice table outside... better than nothing laa... :) and i can tell you, out table was the best place of the night when it's time for the fireworks !!! hahaaa.....

we bumped into our ex-colleague - Jean Nee... she came all the way from Cheras with her sister and friends to celebrate NYE... met some other friends - Cornelius and Elton but didnt take any photos with them... hahaaa.... :P

before the clock strike at midnight, there were lots of people coming out from Sanctuary to get a nice view of the fireworks... luckily, we had a nice place for us to watch the fireworks... yahooo... !!! the fireworks lasted for about 10mins....

we didnt get to finish the bottle of Hennesy cos it started drizzling at 2am... as we were sitting outside, we have no choice but to leave the place... with so many people there, for sure the cars also will be the same.... so damn lots of car and the traffic was "terrible bin horrible" !! we were stuck at that area for at least half an hour... most of the cars were not moving at all... but luckily, me not driver !! :) :) :)
