Countdown @ The Sanctuary - The Curve

wow.... time flies... it was the last day of year 2007 !!! too fast too furious... hahaa...

it's a MONDAY and it was a working day of course, but i left office as early as 4pm... holiday mood already and lazy bum bum... :P but, the traffic jam was as bad as normal peak hours... argghh !!! still managed to reach home at 5pm, watched some dvds and took some nap while waiting for Siau Hui to come...

i still remember i celebrated last year's New Year Eve at The Bed @ Heritage Row but this year, i went to The Sanctuary with Siau Hui and her friend, Michael.... he fetched us there at 8-ish... the traffic was quite congested at that time... but he still managed to get an illegal parking there... had our dinner at Thai Express.... and quite a late dinner for me... :(

Michael and Siau Hui had Thai Fried Rice... and they claimed that it was tasteless....

after eating, we walked for a while at The Street..... although it was still early, but the crowd was so terrible... it was my first time ever in The Curve with so damn many people !! bumped into Kevin and Tracy...

after a while, three of us went to Sanctuary... opened a bottle of Hennesy VSOP... didnt managed to get any table inside but luckily the waitress got us a nice table outside... better than nothing laa... :) and i can tell you, out table was the best place of the night when it's time for the fireworks !!! hahaaa.....

we bumped into our ex-colleague - Jean Nee... she came all the way from Cheras with her sister and friends to celebrate NYE... met some other friends - Cornelius and Elton but didnt take any photos with them... hahaaa.... :P

before the clock strike at midnight, there were lots of people coming out from Sanctuary to get a nice view of the fireworks... luckily, we had a nice place for us to watch the fireworks... yahooo... !!! the fireworks lasted for about 10mins....

we didnt get to finish the bottle of Hennesy cos it started drizzling at 2am... as we were sitting outside, we have no choice but to leave the place... with so many people there, for sure the cars also will be the same.... so damn lots of car and the traffic was "terrible bin horrible" !! we were stuck at that area for at least half an hour... most of the cars were not moving at all... but luckily, me not driver !! :) :) :)
