Kuching @ Sarawak Trip

Part II

day 2 - rise and shine !!

we woke up as early as 8am... cos we've booked a half day tour to Sarawak Cultural Village from a local travel agency.. it cost each of us RM100 for a 4hours half day trip... we went there by a car and reached in about 45 mins.... it's 35km away from Kuching city, on the foothill of Mount Santubong...

we started our journey to Rumah Bidayuh...

Siau Hui and me took a chance to try out their traditional costume... i've chosen Iban costume and Siau Hui tried the Orang Ulu costume....

then, we continued walking to other long houses....

it was the last house before we went for the 45mins - cultural show at the mini theatre... it was a great multi-cultural performance....

OMG OMG.... he selected me among the audiences and brought me up to the stage !!! he asked me to tried out the sumpit...

*faint*

i failed twice, unable to shoot the balloon... at last, he brought me nearer and i made it !!! i was already shaking on the stage... hahaaa... what an experience...

after the show ended, we went for lunch at the Restaurant Budaya...

Sarawak Laksa and Mee Rebus....

we left the place around 1-ish... our half day trip supposed to end there but we Christopher was kind enough to bring us to a Kek Lapis Factory at Kg Grisek...

next, Christopher brought us to take photos at the Cat Monument...

then, he sent us back to our hotel... we went out again for some food...

we tried out the Belacan Meehoon with Cuttlefish and Century eggs... not bad eh !!

we had our last dinner in Kuching at Satok again...

acting cool !!

Kolo Mee and Sarawak Laksa again... muahahahaaa....

we're really really tired by the end of the day....

it's all about eating and walking and eating...
