- Part 3 -
as usual, we had breakfast at the cafe at poolside... after staying 3 nights at Kuta, we checked-out our hotel and headed to Ubud...
a pic at the entrance of the hotel... we decided to wear the same t-shirts we bought from our HK trip last October... :P
halfway, Budi dropped us to a local market or shopping centre called Krishna... we bought lots of stuff there... after some 1 hour, we reached Ubud and checked-in to a budget hotel called Sri Ratih Cottage...

we have this beautiful view outside the balcony... can you see the small swimming pool too ?? it's really small and not so clean... :P
my Dear dont really like this place cos it's kinda scary at night, just like you need to walk through a "jungle" before you reach your room... and it's quite dark too... at one time, we saw a baby frog outside our door, another time, we saw a millipede at the staircase... >.<
after dropping our luggage, we're off for lunch at the famous Babi Guling Ibu Oka .....
it's basically just some hard like rock roasted pig skin served with rice and some vegetables... i dont really like it although so many people recommended us to go for it... :P
but my Dear likes the fried lard... and we ordered extra portion of it...
it's just a small stall at the roadside.... but quite packed with people...
next, we went to Ubud Palace opposite Ibu Oka.... basically, it's just an old building... or is it called a "building" ?
it looked almost the same everywhere we went...
aiyo, why are you feeding the Coca Cola ???
Day 4 at Ubud was actually a "free & easy" day for us.... after spending some 10mins in the palace, we went to the art and craft market opposite the palace... and ALAMAK, it started to rain... we managed to buy some shawl and souvenirs...
next, it's time for our SPA !!!
Budi sent us to Verona Spa nearby... it's located behind some shop lots...
a pic of us while waiting for our treatments... we actually chosen a 4 Hrs SPA treatment inclusive of a full body scrub, balinese massage, flower bath, facial and hair treatment !!! if not mistaken, it cost us around RM100 for all these... it's quite a good deal :)

see the lime-green padi field ?? my Dear was worried all the time, he afraid there might be some peeping Tom out there... hahaa.... aft
after the scrub and massaging, we're asked to soak in the bath tub for another 20mins... next, we went for a simple facial... and lastly, it's time for the hair bath (treatment)...
it's sooooo relaxing !!!
we're totally pampered from top to toe !! :)
it's dinner time ~~ this was the meal we're waiting for...
CRISPY DUCK at Bebek Bengil !!! and Budi claimed that this was actually the most expensive meal for our entire trip...
yummy-licious !!! the duck was so tasty and crispy to the max... heheee...
we also have some breads and vegetables... and a plate of fruits to complete our meal...
a bottle of AQUA for each of us...
we had our most satisfying meal in Bali... :)

after dinner, Budi sent us back to hotel... but since it was still early, we rented a scooter from the receptionist and went rounding at Ubud town...
dropped by at a Cafe and had beer !!

we finished our beer around 11pm, and went back to the hotel for some good rest...
next update - Tegalalang, Tirta Empul & Kintamani...
