my Sunday !!

Restoran Yap Hup Kee & Sungei Wang Plaza
06/04/08

went for breakfast with my family at Restoran Yap Hup Kee at Jalan Brunei Barat, Pudu... the shop is located somewhere behind Times Square... and it's famous for the Chee Cheong Fun with fried dried shrimp and Yong Tau Foo... we've been patronising this shop for more than 10 years... since we're young... hehee... it's still tasted as good as ever.....

those people choosing their Yong Tau Foo...

Chee Cheong Fun - it's RM 2.00 per plate... quite a small plate, and my brother had 4 plates of it...

Fried fu chuk, intestines, brinjal, bittergourd and tau pok (RM 0.80 per piece)...

my mama...she's the one who suggested us to eat there... hehee...

me laa....

Restoran Yap Hup Kee
45, Jalan Brunei Barat (off Pudu),
55100 Kuala Lumpur.
Tel: 03 - 2148 9220
Business Hour: 9.00-5.00pm & 5.30pm-11.00pm

after the satisfying meal, me and my sis went to Sungei Wang for a walk... she bought a pair of shoes for work... and i bought 2 baby-tee from Baleno... hehee...

camwhored in Baleno's fitting room... nice shirt ?? too bad, i didnt buy it... hahaa....
my sis wanted to buy a digital camera, and we went into a few shops at Sg Wang but couldnt find the camera with the best price.. then, we walked over to Low Yat Plaza... we went into a few shops again, and lastly into Fotokem...

my sis at Fotokem... choosing the camera she wanted...

after so many shops we went, Fotokem offered her the best camera with the best price according to her budget...

and... at last.... we got this :-

Lumix 8.1 megapixels digital camera... actually, this was the first time we ever heard about Lumix (Panasonic)... my sis wanted to buy a Sony Cybershot camera earlier, but after comparing it with Lumix.. she decided to buy Lumix...

and for RM 799nett, we got all these - a tripod, a 2MB memory card and screen protector.... :)

took this photo while my sis checking out her new camera....

okay, that ends our day at Sg Wang and Low Yat Plaza... we went for a drink at King's Confectionery before we headed back home...

it was really a tiring day for me... took a nap once i reached home.. hahaa...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Camera Collections

before i end this post, i just wanna recall some of the cameras that we have... most of it already considered "antique".. hahaa...

our very first analogue camera... Ricoh AF5... this camera was quite ok until my sis dropped it on the road at Genting Highland about 10 years ago...

the second camera - Canon Prima JuniorS Macro - it was a free gift given by the newspaper vendor... cos we subscribed a year with them... but it's a very basic camera... and the photo quality was not so good...

so, we bought this Yashica EZS Zoom70 camera at Ampang Park.... if not mistaken, this camera cost us about RM600-RM800... and yet, we're still not satisfied with the photo quality... some of the pics taken were so blurred...

by chance, we've got enough points to redeem this Kodak KD65AF camera from Bonuslink... at last,we've got what we wants but too bad, the camera likes to "eat" battery !! hahaa... not eat la, it's very high battery comsumption... those Lithium battery is very costly laa !!

ended up, my Dad went to buy this Olympus Camedia C-150... i must say this is a very basic digital camera... with minimal function, only 2 megapixels (same with my Nokia N81 ler)... during that time, it was entering the "digital era"... so, for this basic digital camera, it cost my Dad RM600 - not a good bargain at all !!

and now, i present you the main character in this post... hahaa...

.

.

.

.

.

tadaa.....

Mr Lumix 8.1 megapixels...

different pose of Mr Lumix... so handsome right ?? hahaa...

group photo of Mr Camera... we have Mr Ricoh, Mr Canon, Mr Yaschica, Mr Kodak, Mr Olympus and of course, the title goes to Mr Lumix, opss, he has a pink body, a bit gayish for him... hahaaa...

that's all for now....

by the way, all the photos above were taken with my Nokia N81... a big clap for him(the phone la..) hahaa...

adioss....

Smorty !!

Smorty ?? Ever heard about it ?

It's another website that linked us blogger to the advertiser - which means get paid to blog or to get paid for blogging. For bloggers who have been writing about some products or services, Smorty is indeed your good friend. It helps you to earn money by blogging for them.

Again, i got to know Smorty through my blogger friend who has been earning some extra cash while blogging. So, without waiting any longer, i immediately signed up with Smorty and here i am, writing some sponsored post to earn money.

It's very easy with Smorty, all you need to do is to sign up for an account with Smorty, choose an opportunity that are available for you, blog it, get it approved and, yes... the money is yours. But don't forget that you need to have an account with Pay Pal, and you can start earning right away.

What I like about Smorty is that I can earn money by doing something I love in a very little time. I just need to spend around 10-15 minutes of my free time a day to write a relevant post and get paid. And, not only i can earn money, i also gained some extra knowledge and learned something from what i've wrote because there is a lot of topics to write which i need to do some research on the topic.

Ever thought of making money by blogging ? Smorty is the right choice !!

Site Visit, Beach Club & D'licious Hot Pot Restaurant

Site Visit and Beach Club
02/04/08

yesterday, i went to one of our project site at Menara Tan & Tan with Bok for site measurement during lunch time... none of my other colleagues was free to help him, so i have no choice... :P we took a cab over and stayed there for an hour plus...

at their training room...

Bok looking at his drawing...

before we left, i took a photo in front of the office... just for fun !! heheee...

and, we took a cab back... went for lunch at The Beach Club Cafe at Jalan P Ramlee.. i read about their new promotion on the set lunch in the newspaper sometime ago... and decided to give it a try...

there's only 3 choices of the Express Lunch - Set A: Koay Teow Soup, B: Sizzling Cantonese Noodle or C: Sizzling Chicken Chop....

my Sizzling Black Pepper Chicken Chop... all the set comes with a soup, sago melaka dessert and a glass of Pepsi/Seven Up...

the black pepper sauce was quite nice, with lots of pepper, green & red capsicums and mushroom slices :)

Bok ordered Sizzling Cantonese Noodle, when they served it, the hot plate was not sizzling though... nevertheless, the taste was not bad...

eating happily...

by the way, the Express Set Lunch is only available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday... the food was not bad and up to our expectation... after lunch, we walked back to office...

that's about it... :)

Dinner @ D'licious Hot Pot Restaurant - Bdr. Manjalara
02/04/08

it was raining in the late evening, luckily i have a small umbrella in the office cos i need to walk over to the next building to take my car and waited for my sis... or else... wet lorr !! the traffic was very congested, and we reached home at 7.30pm...

then, i went for dinner with a friend at D'licious Hot Pot Restaurant located at Medan Putra Business Centre, Bandar Manjalara... it's a Taiwanese Restaurant but it also serves some Japanese and Korean hot pot... it was my first time there although it is quite near to my house.. hehee... we ordered 1 main dish - Minced Meat Noodle and 2 side orders - Panfried Meat Dumpling and Dong Bo Pork with Flower Bun...

the bowl and spoon looked like those in the Jap restaurant... isnt it ??

my Minced Meat Noodle and Ai Yue Jelly drink... i've tried this dish before at some other place and i found that the noodle they used here was quite different with others... the minced meat was so delicious... and it's only RM 7.90...

yummy yummy...

Panfried Meat Dumpling (RM 6.90)... not so bad.. but it can be better... :)

Dong Bo Pork with Flower Bun (RM 4.90)... this also tasted okay... :)

overall, the food and service was okay and affordable.. but, i still prefer the Taiwanese dishes at Fun Taipei Teacafe at Changkat Thambi Dollah, Pudu... especially the bubble tea with pearls... damn, i love it sooooo much !! my insurance agent brought me there months ago, and i cant wait to go there again... maybe i can update more about it... :)

other than Japanese food, i didnt know that i like Taiwanese food so much... and, the conclusion is that "i LOVE food", food = eating and "i LOVE eating" !! and i guessed that explained my size... hahaa....

Who's our Malaysian Dreamgirl ?

Well, well... recently i realised there's quite a number of people talking about our first reality model search in Malaysia - the Malaysian Dreamgirl (MDG in short) ! I got to know about it from CLEO magazine quite sometime ago and didnt know that it will be such a great reality show.

As I've watched some other reality show such as America Next Top Model before, i found that MDG is quite similar to ANTM. The only difference is that MDG is broadcast over the internet and also the elimination is based on the votes from the public. In this case, i guessed during this time, friends and family are very important - that is to vote for them, and the chances will be high for them to stay in the show till the end.

Okay, actually i just wanted to write some comments about the Dreamgirls. Although i aint any of the judges, but i still have my rights to write about them, right ? :) If you are watching those episodes on the MDG website, you will notice that they have took a few photo shoots - after the make over, sexy lingerie, man's wear and the latest one was taken outside their Dreamhouse if not mistaken. And i actually love their latest photo shoot where they were all wearing white tops or dress. All of them looked so natural - with their big smile in the photo.

In any reality show, for sure there must be some conflicts among the girls - who likes who and vice versa. And in this case, it will be Cindy - especially with her accent and the "house chores" thing that is happening in the Dreamhouse. She's the one being isolated in the show. Most of the girls dislikes her so much till the extend she complained it to her Dad over the phone. Interesting, hah ? To me, if it's just by her look, i'll give her a score of 7/10. She's quite pretty and has a fresh look. But, that's just my opinion. :)

Cindy...

Other than that, my favourite girl would be Hanis. To be honest, during the first round, i didnt notice her at all but after a few episodes, i slowly lay my eyes on her. She has bring out the most out of herself and in fact she did a very good job in the make up challenge. Just wondering, why she's the only one speaking Malay in the show. Other than that, she's almost perfect.

my favourite girl - Hanis..

My second favourite would be Ringo the Cheesie from the Cheeserland. Although she's quite petite but she has a pretty and cute face, most importantly she looked so great after the makeover. And for sure, she has lots of fans out there. By the way, Cheddie, have you vote for her ?? hehee...

Ringo aka the Cheesie...

Not forgetting Nadia, the girl that has the fierce face. That's what the others said about her - mainly because of her eyes. I like her too, cos she has a very unique look among the rest.

Nadia with her mesmerizing eyes...

Okay, i'm not gonna write much about the other girls or else you guys will get bored reading . Anyway, all the girls are trying their best to win the first ever Malaysian Dreamgirl. So, let's wait and see who's the next girl to be eliminated.

VOTE for your favourite Dreamgirl now before it's too late !
