HK & GZ Trip 2011 - Day 5 & 6

Hong Kong & Guangzhou Trip 2011

- day 5 -

it was our second day at Guangzhou, a more relaxing day... we had Wantan Noodle @ 巧手云吞面 for breakfast... didnt take any photo but the Wantan was yummy... !! hehee...

next, we took cab to "Toy City".... this place sell lots of stuff from watches to stationeries, from toys to souvenirs and lots more... you can find all those funny items here...

soon enough, it was lunch time... we walked to a restaurant nearby...

and, yummy yumss...

after lunch, we dropped by at this church for some photos... it does look like those old church in London...

we went to another shopping mall for some shopping... as the sky turned dark, we went back to our hotel to drop off our purchases of the day and walked toward the pier for the Pearl River Night Cruise...

we're seated on the top deck... after a while, we decided to go to the middle deck cos it was too cold for us...

after cruising for around an hour, we're sent back to the pier... we had another late dinner - SEAFOOD dinner @ 鸿星... if not mistaken, it was the most expensive meal we had during the entire trip....

highlight of the day - the mini abalone...

after the scrumptious meal, few of us took a cab back to hotel while the rest of them walked back...

- day 6 -

it was the last day of our trip...

we had Dim Sum for brunch at Beijing Road...

after brunch, we had a free & easy day while my hubby went to buy some stuff... it was drizzling and we just walked around Beijing Road for some last minute shopping...

met up again with the rest of them at hotel around 5-ish for early dinner... our flight was scheduled at 9.10pm... initially, we planned to have dinner at airport but last minute we decided to eat at the restaurant next to the hotel - Restaurant Four Season...

the traffic was quite bad and reached airport just in time to check in...

after queueing for 10 minutes, we're told that we're at the wrong counter for domestic flight... all of us ran to the correct counter for international flight... and we thought we gonna be late for boarding... in the end, we found out that out flight was delayed for half an hour !!!

in the end, we reached LCCT at 2am !!!
