Cycling Trip & Korean House

Cycling Trip & Restoran Korean House @ SS2
19/04/2008

it's been quite some time i didnt cycle... if not mistaken, the last time i cycled was in my hometown in Gopeng... those old-fashioned bicyle with a basket in front.. hehee...

it was just a short cycling trip... remember the Taman Tasik Menjalara i mentioned in my previous post ? earlier, i planned to jog there but my cousin suggested that we go for cycling instead... so, my mum sent me and my sis to her house at Sunway SPK and four of us cycled to Taman Tasik Menjalara....

our bikes....

YY posing with the bikes...

i got the blue one... vroommm... vroomm !!!

after some simple warm up session, all four of us cycled our way to the park... logically, it was not so far from Sunway SPK.. i think, around 1km maybe ??!

but.... that bloody 1km was damn far for us... first, there was this big roundabout we need to cross over... at that time, there was lots of cars coming from all directions... we waited for at least 5-10 mins to cross the roundabout... second, the road was not level, uneven and quite steep for us cyclists.... and, we cycled very hard to reach our destination !!

p/s: my mum drove there... hehee.....

i almost fainted when i reached the park.... i saw stars everywhere.... hahaaa.... =.="

my cousin - Teong Yang fixing his bike... there's some malfunctions...

posing with the red bike....

the sky was getting darker and darker... after resting for 15 mins, we cycled back to Sunway SPK.... this round, it was quite easy for us... we dont need much energy to cycle, just need to control the brakes !! hahaa.... at this moment, i think the traditional Malay proverb "Bersusah-susah dahulu, Bersenang-senang kemudian" is very true !!

it was a very healthy activity but damn tiring ler... :P

then, Mum droves us home.... we cleaned up ourselves and went for a scrumptious dinner at Restoran Korean House at SS2... i miss the hot stone rice so much.... hehee...

for reservation, pls call 03 -7873 0031... :P

it was quite pack during dinner time, so we decided to sit outside... it was quite windy that night...

they put a few greenish plant outside as decoration...

playing with my phone la...

my sis and bro oso busying with their phones... hehee....

know what, we took lots and lots of photos with Mr Lumix... even the couple sitting next to our table also smiling cunningly at us... hahaa....

the Soo siblings...

do we look alike ??

four of us... my Dad didnt join us...

Mummy and son... with lots of banchan on our table...

us again... hahaaa...this time, we ordered Samgyupsal (RM 25) - barbecued pork belly slices.... the pork was so tempting and tasty....

one, two, three.. say CHEESE... !!

that's Bulgogi (RM 28) - slices of beef marinated in special sauce and varies of banchan....

one word to describe - y-u-m-m-y-l-i-c-i-o-u-s !!

Jabchae (RM30) - fried glass noodle... this dish was very tasty too...

not forgetting my favourite Dolsot Bibim Bab (RM 18) - mixed rice with various vegetables in stonepot... i still remember the one i had in Korea, it's full of seaweeds... as you can see here, not much seaweeds though... but it still tasted good !

Soondooboo (RM 15) - spicy bean curd soup....not so bad... it comes with a plain rice..

and, this steamed egg came with the set we ordered....

and lastly, there's a complimentary plate of "christmas tree" shape watermelon for us...

Hey

I stumbled upon your blog when I was Googling for some massage centers in KL. I like your posts. And looks like to me you are a foody!! I'm quite new to your country and I'd love to get some suggestions on weekend getaway and eat outs!
