Singapore Trip

Singapore Day 1

15/09/07

met up wit Michelle and Andrew at JB custom at 7pm... followed them and sneaked into their bus to Singapore... hehee... we took the MRT back to Andrew's place at Ghee Moh (Buona Vista MRT Station)... we had a simple dinner nearby there... online for a while... then we dolled up ourself for drinking session... hahaa... :P

since it was already late, we took a cab to Clarke Quay... met up with Andrew's friend Hew... then, we walked around Clarke Quay and snapped some photos...

while walking, we came across a pub called "Clinic"... some of you may have heard it before but honestly this was the first time i heard about it.... quite scary though... the interior and the fitting were all like in a clinic... with the wheel chair, the "ward blind" and lots more... when i first saw the table with a few people on the wheel chairs, i was like... "how come these people also come for drinking" !! hahaa... i'm so naive... managed to snap onli 1 photo but kinda blurred...

after some walk, we decided to have a drink at a pub/bistro called "Pumped" or "Pump"... forgotten the name... heeheee.... me and Michelle ordered one pint of home-brewed beer... quite nice... :) then, Andrew's friends - Alisa and Edwin joined us.... since the place was so crowded, and they dont have any more chair for them... so we decided to move to another place... we went Geographer Pub - it was like a Thai Pub... they have singers and dancers singing on the stage... pretty Thai gals and handsome Thai guys.... hehee....

if not mistaken, six of us drank 8 jugs of beer there while listening to those Thai songs.... :P went back by cab at around 3.30am...

Singapore Day 2
16/09/07

rise and shine.... i woke up at 1pm... :) packed my stuff and we took a bus to Orchard Road.... met up with a supplier/contractor(ZTE) from my previous company... he brought us to Boat Quay to have lunch... went there by cab... took some photos there... we had lunch at a Xi'an restaurant by the riverside... he ordered a few traditional dishes for us - Chili chicken, beef slice, goat soup and Shanghai dumplings (Xiao Long Bao).... yummy yummy !

after lunch, we walked to Esplanade and took photos with the Merlion...

it was already 6pm, actually i have a plan of meeting my ex-colleague, Annie... but unfortunately, i've not much time and she alredy went back home with her hubby... so, next time la.... three of them sent me to Toa Payoh MRT station... we had some drinks there while waiting for my mum, my aunties and others.... i had dinner with them nearby my aunty's place...


my aunty drove me and others back to JB... luckily the traffic was not so bad... we reached JB in around half an hour... so so tired... walked too much !!
